Intaglio Label Printing Software
Colorflex patented the idea of a computer generated label printing system, recognising the benefits of a single coloured strip label. Colour coded bands are nothing new, individual sticky labels have been applied to folders to aid recognition for many years. The problem with individual labels is the time it takes to apply all the information to the folder.
Colour strip labels contain not only these coloured anchor bands, but all other required information in one, easy-to-apply label. They can even contain a barcode to aid file tracking.
Using label printing software allows you to create labels exactly when you need them. The strip label can be designed to match existing label styles currently being used in your library. And if you require different layouts for different departments, additional label designs can be added into the software package.
What is Intaglio?
Intaglio is the latest version of Colorflex's label printing software that has been designed to work with virtually any colour printer using a Windows driver. Intaglio is a PC based software package that requires Windows 98 or later and a processor speed of 200Mhz or faster. There are two different versions of Intaglio to match your specific needs.
Intaglio Print

WatchDog Data Polling Software
Watchdog®, Colorflex's data polling software, provides an easy-to-use solution to the connection of one of Colorflex's label printing software packages to a client's database system.
Watchdog® data polling software works with most data-generating programs. Once installed, Watchdog® provides a seamless interface to Colorflex's label printing software, without the data-generating program having any specific knowledge of either Watchdog® or the label printing software.
The data-generating program produces a file containing the information required by the label printing software. Watchdog® "looks" for this file in a pre-defined location. When Watchdog® finds the file it prepares the data into the user defined format required by the label printing software. Once this filtration has taken place the labels can be printed or queued to be printed later.
